Lucy is based between Devizes and Westbury in a picturesque village at the foot of Salisbury Plain. She runs a private and friendly livery and training yard catering for all levels of horse and rider and is also a Freelance Trainer. She pays great attention to the individual needs of each horse and rider giving confidence and friendly advice when needed.
Lucy is trained by some of the best trainers in the country and she also travels to Switzerland every year to train with International rider Charlotte Lenherr (nee Heal).
Lucy joined the Chiddingfold Pony Club at the age of 9. She successfully competed in all disciplines and was a key member in all Area Teams. She was also a member of the Elstead Riding Club where in 1994 she became the Junior National Dressage Champion at the Malvern Championships.
After leaving school she became a working pupil for leading British showjumping trainer Corinne Bracken at Thundry Stud in Surrey where she gained invaluable experience on a busy competition yard. During this time Lucy competed at showjumping to 1.25m classes alongside Dressage. In 1999 she was bitten by the "dressage bug" and this is now her passion.
